The Swedish however did not win it with a bg margin but a mere 2 stroke victory from Prayad Marksaeng of Thailand.
Prayad Marksaeng had reason to celebrate, too, closing with an 8-under 64 to tie for second. That appears to be enough for Prayad to move into the top 50 in the world and earn a trip to Augusta National for the Masters.
Edfors went wire-to-wire for his Asian Tour victory, although he nearly threw it away with a tee shot that landed next to a tree on the 16th hole. That led to a double bogey and dropped him into a tie for the lead, but he birdied the last two holes.
Edfors finished at 17-under 271.
